Great value and easy to useApr 22, 2012

This cartridge is great for both Dj's and those at home just wanting to play their records. It's super easy to set up, as there's no mounting required at all, it just goes right onto the tone arm (as long as your tone arm can accept a universal headshell setup). It's extremely durable and tracks very well through every record I've played through it. This package also includes an extra stylus, so it's a great value. (And, if you aren't happy with the provided stylus, any Ortofon stylus will fit this cartridge). The sound is full, rich, warm, and clean, without distortion or extra surface noise. If you hate mounting cartridges as much as I do, and want something that sounds great, this is definitely a must-have.

This is a perfect Dj Cartridge i use this on my time code vinyl and it works great when i used records these cartridges have a boost in output over my old trusty stanton al 500 so this is my weapon of choice now...and for scratching they dont skip under normal conditions...Ortofon Concorde DJ S Twin Pack - 2 x DJ Cartridges each fitted with stylus

I love Ortofon's. I've been a vinyl DJ for 12 years and have used nothing but Ortofon needles. The Concord series is especially useful because it's easier to see where you are at on the record. The sound from these needles are crisp, loud, and clear. They also last quite awhile and I play for at least an hour every day. My last DJ series needles lasted a few years before they needed changing. I currently use two different Ortofon needles. I use the DJ series for at home because the stylus is sphercial therefore it is not wearing out the grooves in the record too quickly. I use the Nightclub series for when I play out. The nightclubs needles are special elliptical which means they track better and basically sound better than the DJ series but they will wear out the grooves quicker than the DJ Series. I will never use any other needle other than Ortofon. Quality needles are essential to DJ's and that is the reason why Ortofon are #1.
